EurocoinPay and Mastercard to issue cryptocurrency debit cards
Spanish licensed trading platform EurocoinPay has agreed with payment giant Mastercard to issue a cryptocurrency debit card. The card will allow EurocoinPay users from the European Union to make purchases in more than 90 million stores around the world. According to EurocoinPay CEO Herminio Fernandez de Blas, the debit card is essential for the popularization of cryptocurrency, as it opens up mass access to purchases for digital assets. Cardholders must comply with EurocoinPay requirements and pass Mastercard AML control.
