The crypto market has become part of the global economy

CEO Ripple in an interview with Bloomberg accused Washington of a tough policy towards the blockchain industry.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is forcing crypto businesses to leave American jurisdiction and seek safe havens. Because of this approach, the United States will lose its status as a technological leader and influence on processes in the global economy.

The businessman criticized the SEC for the lawsuit against Ripple. If the trial ends with the victory of the Commission, the entire industry will be under threat of repression. In the meantime, businesses are migrating from the USA to Singapore, Japan, Australia, the UK and Switzerland, where conditions are being created for the development of the crypto industry.

Garlinghouse recalled the situation in the mid-1990s, when the Internet was being introduced in the United States. Then Washington chose the path of reasonable regulation. The same approach is necessary today, the head of Ripple believes.

🛒 Crypt becomes a universal means of payment

Ripple and the Faster Payment Council surveyed 300 companies from 45 countries and came to the conclusion that by 2025 the number of businesses accepting bitcoin will grow by 50%.

Blockchain has already become an excellent alternative to expensive payment systems.

✅ The volume of transactions with digital currencies has increased markedly: more than 5.5 million crypto transactions were carried out in the USA alone when paying for goods and services.

The popularity of bitcoin and other digital currencies is growing especially rapidly in the field of cross-border payments. Foreign employees often use the crypt to send funds to their homeland — without intermediaries in the face of payment systems and banks.

The introduction of BTC, USDT and USDC accelerates the transition of PayPal and Stripe-level companies to digital assets.

97% of respondents believe that cryptocurrency payments will become an important part of the global financial system in the next three years.

❤️ Crypto charity is trending

The fall of stock markets in 2022 led to the flight of capital from digital currencies and a fall in their value. But natural disasters and cataclysms have created conditions for an explosive growth in the popularity of cryptocurrency donations.

Millions of dollars were received in bitcoin, ether and other virtual currencies to the addresses of charitable and humanitarian organizations. The Turkish authorities have even relaxed their crypto policy to help earthquake victims raise funds and receive assistance. The crypto community welcomed Ankara's decision, which simplified the flow of donations.

This trend is also typical for other regions experiencing natural and man-made disasters. According to analysts, crypto donations will soon become one of the main types of financial support for victims, because funds can be transferred from anywhere in the world and without intermediaries.
