⚡️ Citizenship in the Metaverse
Seongnam, the 12th most populous city in South Korea, recently announced that it will create a virtual replica of the city in the metaverse.
All residents will be able to access more municipal services after acquiring an NFT, which will become the equivalent of citizenship in the metaverse.
The construction process of the metaverse will be completed in April 2023. Preliminary citizenship can be obtained from May to June 2023.
The Korean government has allocated a total of 223 billion won ($117 million) to explore “an unexplored digital continent with endless potential.”
