CryptoLand Community,
After recurrent speculation, allegations, and unwarranted slander, we wanted to address the ongoing dispute with onXRP, and many of their acolytes on Twitter.
As of late, CryptoLand’s trading volume and presence within the XRP community has been baselessly called into question. To set the record straight, we’d like to speak to each of the arbitrary and unfounded accusations currently being used to undermine the integrity and legitimacy of this project.
1. Crypto Corey’s involvement with Kuvera, formerly known as Wealth Generators: In 2018, Corey served as a trading educator for their members, offering his expertise to provide market insights and alternative coin trading analysis. After less than a year of affiliation with this company, Corey left to pursue his own education program. Shortly after his departure, the SEC accused the company’s founders of providing financial services without the required licensing and regulatory oversight. Because of his short tenure with this company, Twitter has speculated that Corey has a past of “financial fraud” despite having no relationship or involvement the founders of the company.
2. High trading volume with minimal exposure: The CryptoLand team made a conscious and strategic decision to build this project in silence and without validation or buy-in from the online XRP community. After witnessing the rise and fall of numerous projects on Twitter, we sought to create our own community hub independent of the traditional “Web 3” volatility, striving to build a durable game non-reliant on the fleeting sentiments of social media trends. Because of this, Twitter sleuths have deemed our community size “suspicious” given their lack of awareness regarding our project, and even went as far as suggesting the thousands of you in this community are “bots!”
3. Wash Trading: We hate to even dignify this accusation by addressing it publicly, but the truth is, many projects are guilty of trading their own assets amongst themselves in an effort to portray artificial value. We stand proud to be an exception to this presumption. CryptoLand has NEVER and will NEVER partake in this unethical practice and remain unwavering in this principle. Despite our legal team offering a full-throated dispute against these claims, onXRP still refuses to remove the disclaimer unjustifiably placed on our collection.
The reality is CryptoLand has swiftly become the biggest and most successful project to emerge on the XRPL. It’s both disheartening and unfortunate that our ascension has been met with defamatory accusations intended to discredit all that we’ve achieved together over these last 2 years. Nonetheless, we remain focused and committed to our original vision, and we’ll continue to revolutionize crypto gaming while Twitter continues to speculate. Onward and upwards!
